Nice to meet you! I'm Kawai, a software product manager based in Toronto, Canada.

I am currently a product manager at Shopify. Prior to product management, I started my career in financial accounting and became curious about software development when I became the first product manager at Bench Accounting, and later at CaseWare.

I am also a Masters of Science in Management student and research assistant at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. My research interest is in blockchain and accounting, particularly leveraging blockchain technology to increase transparency in financial reporting.
